Issa expands collection with swimwear line

British luxury label Issa is set to introduce swim and resort wear to its product range. Issa, the brand best-known for

 designing Kate Middleton's royal, blue engagement dress, has signed a licensing deal with luxury swim and resortwear producer Sol Praia.

The new collection, known as Issa Beach, will first be introduced in stores this October with resort 2015. “Issa Beach has always seemed like a relevant evolution for the brand — the Issa woman already looks to us for her travel wardrobe, and swimwear is a key category for her,” commented Camilla Al Fayed, chairwoman of Issa to WWD.

“Sol Praia is the perfect partner for us. With its reputation for quality and fit, we can be confident that the Issa Beach range will provide women with the feel-good swimwear that they would expect from Issa.” The specialist manufacturer, Sol Praia, is based in Portugal and has over 30 years of experience crafting luxury swimwear, offering its own London-based label Lazul in a number of premium department stores around the world.

Issa Beach will be offered within Issa's own stores as well as a number of department stores and boutiques which offer swim and resortwear.
