Popular London based luxury fashion label, Issa

London, has announced its plans to make Japan the location for the brands first standalone store.

Founded by Brazilian born designer, Daniella Helayel, the label recently found a new chairman in Camilla Al Fayed, of Harrods family fame, who says of the move, “Japan is the gateway to Asia and we intend to expand into Hong Kong and China within the next few years. We will then become a truly global brand."

Al Fayed also revealed plans to open a flagship store in Sao Paolo in Brazil at the end of the year. "Our other main focus is the Middle East," added Al Fayed. "We expect to open a store in Kuwait by the end of the year, with several more planned over the following four years."

Issa London will open a store in the Roppongi Hills shopping centre next week following the success of a pop-up shop in the Mitsukoshi department store in Ginza last summer.
