ITE Moda Ltd, the organisers behind Moda, the UK’s largest trade fashion exhibition,

have announced that they are launching a new trade show for urban, street and action sports lifestyle clothing and footwear this August at the NEC Birmingham.

Flip, which will run alongside Moda, will be dedicated to showcasing new season ranges from specialist boardsport and activewear stores, as well as the growing number of fashion retailers looking for the latest urban and active lifestyle brands.

The tradeshow will run from August 12-14 and has already confirmed that British brand Animal, which is celebrating a decade of the Animal Bike Tour this year, will be showing both its men’s and women’s collection.

“The introduction of FLIP gives us a perfect platform to showcase our brand in the right environment remaining true to our brand values and strong action sports heritage” says Animal’s Head of Marketing, Joel Pickering. “Moda’s timing and location are perfect for the industry and the addition of FLIP will complement the show for both new and existing customers. With very few other relevant UK trade shows in the calendar for action sports lifestyle brands at present, we see FLIP as the perfect opportunity.”

Jamie Harden, event director of FLIP, added: “We’re really excited to get involved with such a vibrant area of the fashion industry. We know from our conversations with both brands and retailers that this sector of the market has been in need of a credible trade show for some time and we’re pleased to have been able to create this for these dynamic brands.”

As well as clothing displays the debut edition of Flip will also feature spectacular live shows featuring some of the world’s best bike riders.
