JD Sports to open biggest store to date

Sports and streetwear fashion chain JD Sports is getting ready to

open its largest European store to date in the Netherlands.

On the 17th of December, JD Sports is set to open the doors of its 250 square meter flagship store in the city of Rotterdam, on the corner of Lijnbaan and Aert van Nesstraat. The new store will offer its growing collections over two floors and will continue to advertise its 'Only at JD' lines from a number of sport and casual wear brands.

The sportswear chain opened its first stores in the Netherlands this year in Utrecht, Tilburg and Breda and currently has 14 stores throughout the country. JD Sports first opened its doors in 1981 with a single store names John David Sports in Bury. Since then the store has grown and now has over 900 stores in the UK, France, Spain and the Netherlands.
