Jean Paul Gaultier X La Perla

is making a comeback. AW11 will see the launch of a designer collection of lingerie by Jean Paul Gaultier and La Perla. It’s for the first time both brands are teaming up.

The collaboration unites La Perla’s absolute feminity and the distinct creative approach of Jean Paul Gaultier. Each model is a celebration of the female body: from the waist cincher corset to the slip that follows the curves of the body, from the extra-high briefs that hug the hips to the bustier which highlights the neckline. The collection comes in cult lingerie colours black and powder pink with accents of coral and bleu canard.

Two special limited edition garments will be presented in Paris during the Jean Paul Gaultier AW11 Haute Couture show. The pieces include a backstitch satin bra with a shoulder-strap motif and glove-holding strings, and a suspender belt with ‘protege fesses’ to round off the silhouette.
