High street women's wear Jigsaw is preparing to open an concession stand in Dublin department store Arnotts next month, highlighting

its new international expansion strategy.

Jigsaw previously operated a single stand alone store in Dublin, which shut over two years now. Now the British women's wear retailer is set to open a 900 square foot store in Arnotts, which celebrates its re-entry into the European market.

“Arnotts was an obvious choice as partner as they have invested heavily with a great number of new credible fashion brands and we feel the Jigsaw offer of affordable luxury will resonate strongly with their customers,” said Peter Ruis, chief executive offer for Jigsaw in a statement.

The women's wear label will offer a selection of its fall 14 apparel range, as well as an edit of its accessories and footwear offering. Its concession stand will be located on the first floor of the department store amongst other British fashion labels such as Hobbs and LK Bennett.

“With renewed confidence in the brand the time is right to move back into Europe and as part of Jigsaw's overarching international strategy we are delighted to be returning to Dublin,” added Ruis. Following the opening of its concession in Arnotts, Jigsaw is exploring options to open stands in department stores in Germany, France and Scandinavia.
