Judges for WGSN Global Fashion Awards announced

The WGSN Global Fashion Awards has unveiled its judging

panel for the forthcoming edition of the awards, due to be held at The Savoy London in November.

This year’s panel consists of some of the most prominent and influential individuals in the fashion and style industry from around the world with judges hailing from Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Australia, America and the UK including Topshop's Managing Director Mary Homer, ASOS Product and Trading Director Robert Bready, General Manager at Myer Judy Coomber, Creative Director of Bally Michael Herz, and accessories designer Laura Bohinc.

In addition, further names represented include Next, Jigsaw, FJ Benjamin, Selfridges, Oroton, Basso & Brooke and Bora Aksu, who will judge the awards alongside esteemed writers, stylists and fashion commentators.

Founder and Director of the WGSN Global Fashion Awards, Lauretta Roberts said: “We’re very proud of the calibre of the judges this year; they are a true reflection of the spirit and reach of the WGSN Global Fashion Awards.

“We have world-class retailers, designers, emerging talent, digital experts, stylists, commentators and writers from as far afield as Sydney and Singapore. To have this panel of judges rate your work and say it’s the best in the world is the ultimate endorsement for any fashion business or designer.”

Entries are still open for the WGSN Global Fashion Awards, with categories ranging from best designer for women’s and menswear, best design teams in womenswear, menswear, footwear & accessories, kidswear and denim, as well as best store and e-store.
