K-Swiss names Global President

Californian-based sportswear label K-Swiss has announced the appointment of David Nichols

as global president. He will replace Steven Nichols, who will remain active in daily company leadership as the chairman of the K-Swiss Board of Directors.

Previously, executive vice president at the company, David Nichols’ new role will be to oversee global functions of the K-Swiss brand including all marketing initiatives and brand functions including product design and development, and he has been tasked with strengthening the brand’s lifestyle platform.

He has worked for the brand since 2005 in a number of leadership positions including as the president of K-Swiss Direct and president of European Operations, stationed respectively in the company's Amsterdam and Japan offices; and he has been instrumental in the company's repositioning as a global sports brand.

"I am looking forward to helping further the brand’s momentum across performance and lifestyle channels, while building shareholder value and brand equity," commented David Nichols.
