Kate Middleton brand ban

Those who want to cash in on the stylish dress sense of royalty to be Kate Middleton are warned.

The British Royal Family warned clothing companies to launch designs that carry the name Kate ‘Catherine’ Middleton.

Recently eBay informed the press sales were going up for labels loved by Miss Middleton such as Issa London, Reiss and Whistles. The blue Issa London dress she wore during the engagement announcement with Prince William was sold out in just one day.

Labels that do decide to use the Kate Middleton brand, and design a Kate-dress or Catherine-skirt can be sued for thousands of pounds by Royal lawyers.
