of Bottega Veneta. The new appointment comes after the parent company created two new luxury divisions earlier this year to oversee the growth of its fashion and 'hard' luxury label.Alberto Beretta, who will begin his new role next year January, will be fulfilling the role vacated at the luxury fashion label by Marco Bizzarri, who was appointed CEO of Kering's 'Luxury Couture and Leather Goods' division this April.
He brings with him years of experience within the leather industry and will be reporting to Bizzarri, who remains president of Bottega Veneta in order to assure smooth transition. “We are delighted to welcome Carlo Alberto Beretta to Bottega Veneta and Kering,” commented Bizzarri.
“I am confident he has the skills and experience necessary to build on the work done so far and to continue supporting the growth of the brand globally.”
