Kering, the home to luxury brands including Gucci, Bottega and Brioni, is launching

a new internship programme with Vogue Italia to promote new talent.

The French luxury good group will be offering 23 paid internships, based in Switzerland, Italy and France, across numerous departments including design, merchandising, visual display, public relations, digital and communications.

Commenting on the initiative, François-Henri Pinault, chairman and CEO of Kering, said: “Attracting, retaining and developing talent is a priority for Kering and its brands. Nurturing talent is part and parcel of Kering’s philosophy of Empowering Imagination.”

Vogue Italia will publish the list of internships on September 20 and will help select candidates for eight of the group’s labels: Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Brioni, Sergio Rossi, Boucheron, Girard-Perregaux, JeanRichard and Pomellato.

Candidates will have until November 30 to submit their project along with a resume and a 30-second video presentation. Successful applicants will join one of the Kering brands from January 2014.

Franca Sozzani, Vogue Italia editor in chief added: “Supporting a new generation of young talents is crucial for the future of the entire fashion system. Kering and its brands are devoted to working with young talents and helping them with internships is just one example. I strongly believe that together we can make the difference for many new talents.”
