Selected from a shortlist of four candidates, Kerrie

Luft was named as the winner of Fashion Fringe Accessories 2011. She now has the opportunity to do an apprenticeship at Roger Vivier.

Bruno Frisoni, Creative Director of Roger Vivier, who selected the winning candidate in London, chaired the Fashion Fringe Accessories platform. The apprenticeship has been designed to provide the winner with exposure to all aspects of the luxury accessory business from design and development, to dealing with the press and wholesale account management.

Bruno Frisoni said: “I embrace the spirit of Fashion Fringe as it provides an open door to the rather closed world of fashion. Kerrie stood out as she has the potential to be a great designer in her own right. Her personality shone through, and her design approach is very organic, whilst embracing new technology to give an incredibly contemporary feel – we welcome her to Maison Roger Vivier.”

Fashion Fringe Accessories was launched in 2007, and this years finalists were Emma Boutet, Monisola Otomoso, Rose Choules and Kerrie Luft. Fashion Fringe is an IMG event, and is supported by American Express, Covent Garden London, Davenport Lyons, DHL, Metro, very.co.uk and The Mayor of London.
