L Brands net sales in September increase 9 percent

REPORT_ L Brands reported net sales of 853.5 million dollars for the five weeks ended October 4, 2014, an increase of 9 percent, compared
to net sales of 786 million dollars same period, last year. Comparable store sales increased 6 percent during the month.The company reported net sales of 6.685 billion dollars for the 35 weeks ended October 4, 2014, an increase of 7 percent compared to net sales of 6.275 billion dollars for the 35 weeks ended October 5, 2013. Comparable store sales increased 4 percent during the period under review.
L Brands, through Victoria's Secret, Pink, Bath & Body Works, La Senza and Henri Bendel, operates 2,955 company-owned specialty stores in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, and its brandsare sold in about 600 additional franchised locations worldwide. The company's products are also available online.
