Spanish accessories and footwear brand La Portegna has opened its first UK flagship store. The 1,400 square foot store, located on Marylebone High

Street, London is the former Jack Wills unit and marks the brand’s first standalone venture outside of Madrid. La Portegna, known for its range of travel products and use of quality leather, will also use the flagship to act as a showroom for the brand for UK retailers. Currently the Spanish brand has four UK stockists, including Fenwick.

Natalie Lintott, partner in Cushman & Wakefield’s central London retail team, who advised La Portegna, said: “After a year-long search, it is great to be able to finally bring La Portegna to the UK. Marylebone is one of the ‘chicest’ London villages at the moment with its unique mix of quality occupiers – from premium fashion brands to Parisian cafes and great restaurants – all serving a very discerning local shopper. La Portegna will certainly benefit from the high volume of consumers keen to spend in the area.”

Other recent lettings in the area have included Zadig & Voltaire and Wolford, which complement existing brands Sandro, Theory, Loft by Design, Designers Guild, The Natural Kitchen, Rachel Riley, The White Company and Paul Smith.
