Le Coq Sportif to launch first UK store

French sportswear brand Le Coq Sportif has announced that it

is launching its first standalone store in the UK next year.

The store will open in Covent Garden in March and will be located on the corner of Earlham and Mercer Street.

The opening of the London concept store is part of the brand’s strategy, which has included opening stores in Paris, Milan, Lille, and Marseille as part of the sportswear company’s 130th anniversary celebrations this year.

The store will carry Le Coq Sportif apparel, footwear and accessories, for men and women, as well as limited edition ranges, including the Tour de France ‘La Grande Boucle’ range for spring/summer 2013.
