British denim brand Lee Cooper is continuing with its retail expansion into Eastern Europe with the opening of two new standalone

stores in Romania.

Located in the Pitesti Euromall and the Timisoara Iulius Mall, the new Romania shops takes Lee Cooper’s store count in the country to 29, and raising the total store count in Eastern Europe to 102.

Both stores have been designed in line with the brand’s “minimal and understated” global look and feel and features the latest ‘Maker’s’ campaign imagery. Both carry men’s and women’s spring/summer 2014 collections across denim, outerwear, separates and accessories.

CEO of Lee Cooper, Andy Dunkley, said: “Whilst we are clear market leaders in the denim market in Romania we are not resting on our position and we continue to expand our store footprint to serve the needs of our consumers. We remain focused on improving our market share across Central and Eastern European markets with our mix of strong product, great marketing and continued new store roll outs”.

In addition to Romania, Lee Cooper has recently expanded in Russia with new stores, and signed a new licensing deal in Estonia.
