British denim brand Lee Cooper is pushing forward with its Russian expansion after

increasing the number of standalone stores in the region to six.

The East London denim label has opened prominent standalone locations in Moscow and St Petersburg, as well as their first franchise store in Perm, and Lee Cooper’s Russian partner, retailer LVB has plans to open at least five more in Moscow and other key regions over the coming months.

CEO of Lee Cooper, Andy Dunkley, said: “We are delighted that our global retail expansion continues with a great partner in Russia. Our global retail sales have now passed the 500 million dollar mark with 2013 being the fourth year in a row of strong double digit growth.”

Each store has been decorated to amplify Lee Cooper’s brand identity, inspired by East London street style and British rock’n’roll attitude.

Founded in 1908, Lee Cooper is currently sold in more than 90 countries, and has been enjoying double digit growth year-on-year.
