Levi Strauss names Craig Nomura as head of global retail

Denim giants Levi Strauss & Co has appointed Craig Nomura, a 25-year industry leader,
as executive vice president and president of global retail.
Nomura will be leading a global team of 7,300 employees responsible for driving Levi’s omni-channel retail experience across a footprint of approximately 2,800 owned and operated, franchise and outlet stores. Additionally, he will be responsible for implementing new and innovative solutions to continue LS&Co.’s rapid and profitable retail growth, as well as define new opportunities to connect the company’s iconic brands with fans around the world.
He joins Levi’s from Williams-Sonoma Inc., where he was responsible for international expansion as senior vice president of global development. Prior to that he held leadership positions at Gap Inc., The Gymboree Corporation, Guess Inc. and Foot Locker. In his new role, he will report to Chip Bergh, LS&Co. president and Chief Executive Officer.
