Levi’s names Marc Rosen head of e-commerce

Denim apparel brand Levi Strauss & Co. has named Marc Rosen as executive vice president

of global e-commerce, effective May 5.

Rosen will be responsible for leading the denim brand’s global e-commerce business to drive “new growth, consumer loyalty and sustainable profitability”, as well as establishing Levi.com and Dockers.com as digital flagship stores through an engaging user experience, a breadth and depth of product assortments, and improved order management capability.

He will also be tasked with looking at advancements in systems and technology, as well as a focusing on Levi’s highest-growth markets, which include China, France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States. Rosen will report to Chip Bergh, Levi Strauss & Co. president and Chief Executive Officer.

Most recently, Rosen served as senior vice president of global e-commerce at Wal-Mart Stores Inc, and he brings more than 20 years of retail and e-commerce leadership experience to the role. Prior to Walmart he also held senior leadership positions for Walmart’s international business unit and Ernst & Young.
