LFW designers win at Elle Style Awards

Last night in London, monthly fashion magazine Elle

held its 15th annual Style Awards hosted by Alexa Chung, celebrating the most stylish stars and emerging fashion talent. London Fashion Week designer’s Mary Katrantzou and Jonathan Saunders took home the top fashion honours, winning Young Designer of the Year and British Designer of the Year, respectively.

There was also another award for Alexander McQueen’s Sarah Burton who scooped the coveted International Designer of the Year title, which was presented to her by supermodel Naomi Campbell.

Other fashion honours went to shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood who was crowned Accessory Designer of the Year, Jewellery Designer of the Year went to jeweller Jordan Askill, Swedish fashion label were awarded Contemporary Brand of the Year, and Isabeli Fontana was named Best Model.

There was also an award for former Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntingdon-Whiteley who won Style Icon of the Year.
