Liberty's head of accessories buying exits

London department store Liberty has announced the
departure of Alexandra Stylianidis, head of buying for women’s accessories and jewellery, after five years with the retailer.Stylianidis who has been instrumental for Liberty over the past five years, including being an integral part of the Renaissance of Liberty in 2009 as well as the development and implementation of the Accessories Emporium in 2012, has left to “pursue new projects” a statement from the retailer confirmed.
The statement added: “Alexandra is pursuing exciting challenges with multiple projects and guises enabling her to support and identify young talent with a strong commercial and creative future.”
The retailer also confirmed that the majority of Stylianidis’ role would be absorbed into Ruby Chadwick’s remit as buyer for accessories and jewellery at the luxury retailer to enable a seamless transition.
