Last week the lingerie and swimwear industry were out in force

for the annual Contour Fashion Ball held at The Savoy. The sell-out event, sponsored by Invista, Panacha and Fashion Forms was hosted by TV personality and stylist Mark Heyes, raised £52,000 for the Retail Trust and the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust charities.

As well as ticket sales, the event held an auction raising £10,000 with prizes including a Mauritius holiday and a mystery box donated by Ann Summers.

Sharon Webb, Chairwoman of the Contour Committee and Head of Buying and Design – Lingerie, said: “It’s so exciting to be part of a sell-out event where the industry come together to not only enjoy themselves, but to really support our charities. When I took on this role, I set a target of raising £50,000. A big thank you to all who contributed and helped us raise the highest amount on record for this event.”

Nigel J L Rothband, Retail Trust Chief Executive said: “We are overwhelmed with the support from everyone involved in the Contour Ball, especially the hard working committee. The £52,000 raised is a fantastic sum enabling Retail Trust and FTCT to provide crucial services to people in retail.”
