Liverpool to host fashion festival

Aintree Racecourse has been selected as the host venue for the first ever Liverpool

Fashion Festival due to take place early next year. The festival is being put on by UK Fashion Events and will be held over four consecutive evenings from February 9-12, 2012.

The Liverpool Fashion Festival will include a live catwalk show featuring the latest collections from the region’s fashion houses and retailers, as well as offering an exclusive boutique fashion fair. Along with live music and entertainment, there will also be free styling tips, beauty advice and demonstrations from some of Liverpool’s leading stylists and make-up artists.

“With the Races being Liverpool’s most glamorous event of the year, Liverpool Fashion Festival is the ideal fashion event to celebrate Spring Catwalk Fashion and assist Fashionista’s in finding their perfect Race-Day Outfit,” says Rebecca Kennedy, Event Manager of UK Fashion Events Limited. “Our team is very experienced at creating large scale, show-stopping fashion events, so we really are planning to bring something very special to Aintree!”
