LK Bennett appoints merchandising director

Premium womenswear retailer LK Bennett has appointed

former Burberry director Sarah Thorley as its merchandising director.

Thornley joined the chain last month from Matches, where she was the luxury retailer’s buying strategy director, prior to that she worked for Burberry for 13 years, rising to the position of global digital director of merchandise.

Commenting on her appointment, Didier Drouet, CEO of LK Bennett, said: “Sarah Thornley brings with her a wealth of expertise in merchandising, particularly from a luxury perspective.

“We look forward to developing current opportunities and are excited about our continued UK and International expansion in our stores and online."
