LK Bennett signs-up to LDO

Premium womenswear retailer LK Bennett is the latest fashion brand to sign up to the

London Designer Outlet, which is currently under construction at Wembley.

The outlet centre, which is set to open in autumn 2013, will be London’s first designer shopping outlet, and LK Bennett will occupy a 1,900 square foot unit on a ten year lease.

LK Bennett, which has 120 shops across the UK, Europe and the US, follows US-based designer Max Studio, Guess, and urban fashion brand Superdry who have already signed up to the development.

Phil Cottingham, Head of Retail at Quintain, said: “LK Bennett is one of Britain’s premier fashion brands boasting a strong international profile, and will therefore appeal to both the primary catchment and the thousands of tourists that visit Wembley every year.

“It is a great addition to the line-up at LDO and we are delighted to have them on board.”

A spokeswoman for LK Bennett added: “The LK Bennett brand is rooted in London, and as a result we are excited to be part of LDO which we believe will become one of the city’s most popular retail destinations.”

LDO will be anchored by Nike, Gap, Clarks and Marks and Spencer, and a year ahead of opening the development is 52 percent exchanged or in solicitors’ hands.
