British handbag and accessories brand Lulu Guinness has named

Paul Spinks as its new managing director.

Spinks, who joined Lulu Guinness 18 months ago as chief operating officer, will replace Martin Mason, who is leaving the business for a “new opportunity”.

Commenting on the appointment, Yaron Meshoulam, chairman of Lulu Guinness said: “Paul has been doing a terrific job and the time is now right for him to take the helm and bring to bear his vision, experience and leadership skills for our brand.”

Spinks added: “I am thrilled to be taking over as managing director at a time that the Lulu Guinness brand is poised to develop on so many fronts: in-store, on the web and TV, and via our partners across the globe.”

Lulu Guinness commented: “The fashion world is transforming beyond recognition in the way that it engages customers and I’m looking forward to continuing to work with Paul and the team to take the glamour and mischief of the Lulu Guinness brand to the next level.”
