With menswear and the booming industry currently all the fashion talk, news has come

that LVMH group has bought French made to measure menswear brand, Arnys, whose historical roots date back to Paris 1933.

“This acquisition brings together two Maisons which, in their own respective ways, embody generations of excellence, savoir faire and creativity. Jean Grimbert brings to our project his invaluable expertise and pure passion for elegance and its perfect execution, qualities embodied by Arnys as well as by Berluti”, stated Antoine Arnault, CEO of Berluti.

The acquistion reflects Berluti’s development strategy, which, under the management of Arnault, intends to expand the luxury footwear brand’s activities with its first prêt-à-porter men’s collection designed by Artistic Director Alessandro Sartori.

Arnys, led by Jean Grimbert, part of the company’s third generation, is predicted to earn around €10 million in revenues. Moreover, the company’s historical boutique at 14 Rue de Sèvres in Paris will become a flagship store per Berluti’s new products.
