Chief operating officer Eric Coorens is set to take over the day-

to-day running of business at Fashion NL, part of Macintosh Retail Group. In a press release sent out on Thursday, the company stated their decision to increase its direct involvement in its retail operations, while simultaneously increasing the ‘responsibility its local boards for results at country level at the same time.’

The country boards of Macintosh BeLux Fashion and Macintosh Fashion UK will report directly to chief executive Frank de Moor, allowing him to have an increased involvement in the retail formats in both countries. “These changes will place even more focus on the direct profit responsibility of our Fashion country” Moor concluded in the press release.

Coorens will take on his new role as Operational Director in addition to his current position on the board of directors. Fashion NL consists of the footwear formats Scapino, Dolcis, Manfield, Invito, PRO 0031, Steve Madden and Intreza.nl, with 465 stores and 7 webshops in the Netherlands.
