The organisers of Manchester Fashion Week have revealed part

of their line-up for this year's event which will be held at The National Football Museum from 22-26 April. Held in association with headline sponsor Boohoo, the show schedule will include fashion shows by high street and online brands including Next, Ted Baker, Forever 21 and Reiss. Boohoo will also be participating in the show.

The event will host 30 fashion shows and 20 exhibition spaces throughout the five day event. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be dedicated to High Street trends, while Thursday will focus on new talent and the education showcase. The final day will see luxury designer collections take to the catwalk.

The organisers said that one of the highlights of the High Street shows will be the runway debut of Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing’s label Candy Kittens. The TV personality will be attending the event and hosting a pop-up candy shop featuring his new Spring/Summer range of sweets and fashion clothing. Of the event, Jo Davies, MD of Black White Denim says, “Manchester Fashion Week helps to put the North West shopping scene well and truly on the map!”

Whilst Rudi Kidd, consultant solicitor in the Intellectual Property team at Manchester Law firm Kuits says, “The history and legacy of the cotton industry in Manchester has created a direct link to fashion. Manchester is constantly on the move as a City and it deserves an event like Manchester Fashion Week to promote the City as a destination and to further enhance its reputation for its creative industries such as fashion and music.”
