Fashion retailer MandMDirect has hit its fundraising 1 million

pound milestone for its charity partner Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT).

MandMDirect has been working with TCT, the charity that helps young people with cancer, since 2005, and has raised funds through regular donations, marketing initiatives and employee fundraising events, such as parachutes jumps and treks, and participation in fundraising days including TCT’s annual Time for T Day.

The landmark 1 million pounds was celebrated at a special event during the trust’s run of shows at the Royal Albert Hall, which concluded last week.

Mike Tomkins, chairman of MandMDirect and patron of the trust, said: “It feels fantastic that we have broken the 1 million pounds barrier. We are committed to keep our fundraising exploits for the charity going - here’s to the next million.”

Siobhan Dunn, director of fundraising at the trust, added: "On behalf of everyone at TCT, I would like to extend a massive thank you to everyone at MandMDirect for the support they have given us over the last eight years and look forward to all our future collaborations.”
