Keeping up with the blogosphere, Spanish retailer Mango is taking the online world offline

with its new blogger project. Seven international bloggers are asked to demonstrate their styling skills at the ‘Mango loves fashion bloggers’ initiative.

The blogosphere project is divided into two stages. The first is taking place on 23rd March at the El Hangar-Design Center, here bloggers are asked to create two looks which will be showcased on micro site mango.com/fashionbloggers, Twitter and Facebook. Mango followers can vote for their favourite look for a week and the winner receives € 5.000 to donate to a charity of choice. Stage two will take place in mid-April, when the bloggers are invited to a shopping night organised by Mango in their respective countries. The bloggers can interact with customers and give them styling tips. Voted for best blogger online, the name of the winner will be announced on 3rd May receiving €20,000. the winner will become the brand’s new It Girl for the AW11 season, and invited to Mango’s fashion show.

The selected bloggers include Poppy Dinsey from the UK, American Nathalie Suárez, Italian Chiara Ferragni, Mexican Andy Torres, Spanish Silvia García, Swede Lina Söderström and French Denni Elias.
