Marc Jacobs collection stolen

Marc Jacobs' S/S12 collection has been stolen en route from Paris to London.

Luckily, it has been confirmed that it is only duplicates which have been taken, rather than the entire collection and that originals are safe in New York.

However, this does unfortunately mean that eagerly awaiting fashion insiders wont be able to view the collection at the planned London press day. The pieces were stolen whilst in the care of a courier as they were being transferred from Paris to London. The company released a statement yesterday to apologise for the cancellation of the event - and the theft is now being investigated by the police in London.
