Markus Lupfer to design childrenswear

Debenhams is adding to its designer roster in time for

Christmas with the announcement that fashion designer Markus Lupfer, known for producing statement knits and slogan t-shirts, will be producing a childrenswear collection with model and TV personality Donna Air.

The designer childrenswear collection, ‘Donna & Markus by Markus Lupfer, will launch exclusively in Debenhams from November 26, and will feature knitwear, sweatshirts, t-shirts and leggings for girls aged four-14.

In the retailer’s statement it said it will target the range at "fashion-forward mothers" who want to dress their daughters in "designs usually only spotted on the catwalks at Fashion Week".

This is Lupfer’s latest high street collaboration, the knitwear designer is also producing a capsule collection for contemporary womenswear retailer Whistles, which will consist of hats, scarves, silk pyjamas, as well as small leather goods such as an iPad case and leather tote bag.
