Marlies Dekkers names new CEO

Dutch lingerie brand Marlies Dekkers has named Eppo van Berckelaer as its Chief Executive Officer. Chosen for his
extensive knowledge of business development, e-commerce and marketing management, he will be responsible for executing the label’s new strategy, which includes developing the lingerie brand’s e-commerce.
“This company needs a passionate CEO who is able to execute our new strategic course based on his knowledge, experience and personal vision. Eppo and I find each other in our ideas about how to extend the Marlies Dekkers brand,” said creative director Marlies Dekkers. “As our personalities fit, we will form a strong team. Moreover, our individual fields of expertise complement each other perfectly. I am very much looking forward to our co-operation.”
E-commerce is at the top of the label’s new strategic course, it is hoping that the development of its own webshop, as well as creating a network of online and in-store retailers will help it achieve its clear growth goals by increasing the success of its online retailing.
