Italian fashion house Marni has teamed up with Tomorrow London

Ltd., an international sales platform, to help globally distribute the brand's men's wear collection, beginning with the autumn 2014 line.

Marni's men's wear line was introduced fall 2007 and is currently sold at 90 different retail points across the globe. Through the new partnership with Tomorrow London Ltd., whose business model combines multi-brand showrooms, logistics and distribute center with a multi-service marketing firm, the amount of retail locations aims to grow to 250 to 300, reported WWD.

“We strongly believe in the potential of our men’s wear line, and Tomorrow will help us expand in an international market, similar to our women’s division,” said Gianni Castiglioni, CEO of Marni to WWD. He added that Marni hopes that Tomorrow London Ltd., will be able to bring the men's wear collection to a number of department stores and expand the line in US and Europe. Castoglioni also revealed that the company hoped to increase the current percentage of men's wear sales from 3 percent to account for 10 percent of revenues over the next few years.

Stefano Martinetto, CEO of Tomorrow London Ltd., stated that he and his partners at Tomorrow were “honored” to be able to work with “one of the most interesting Italian treasure.” According to Vogue, Marni has built up a reputation of being “superbly individualistic,” with its use of textures, colors and form. In 2012 Marni joined OTB group and Diesel jeans founder Renzo Russo announced plans relaunch the fashion brand in foreign markets.
