M&S to focus on fashion with new tv ad

Fashion is the focus of Marks & Spencer's new television ad, which debuted on Thursday in the UK.



The commercial features more clothing than the retailer has previously shown, with a story of a fashion emporium featuring women trying on different outfits from the current collection.

Starring Carolyn Murphy, the collection follows the trend of bold brights, sixties-inspired garments and simple luxe clothing ranges.

M&S executive director of marketing and international Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne told Retail Week: "With the launch of the autumn 14 campaign we really wanted to express the spirit of the clothing and key trends M&S has to offer; vibrant, energetic and confident styles that appeal to women of all ages."
