Masai FY'13 revenue increased 17 percent

REPORT_ Annual Report 2012/13 for the Masai Clothing Company
Group suggests an increase of 17 percent in revenue touching 286 millon Danish Krone (50.50 million dollars). Revenue outside Denmark increased 24 percent to 189 million Danish Krone (33.37 million dollar). The strongest increase was seen in the UK, Finland, Sweden, Germany and Switzerland. Revenues in Denmark increased 6 percent to 97 million Danish Krone (17.13 million dollar).Contributing 26 percent of total sales the Group’s own shops in Denmark and Sweden have shown an increase in the sales due to new store lunch and higher sales with improved customer service and marketing. Operating profit (EBIT) increased 31 percent to 80 million Danish Krone (14.13 million dollar) resulting in an EBIT margin of 28. The profit for the year increased 27 percent to 61 million Danish Krone (10.77 million dollar). The Group expects increased sales and profit in the coming year based on the increase in the orders taken from whole sales customers, especially on the export markets.
