Quintain Estates and Development, which is transforming

85 acres of land surrounding Wembley Stadium and Arena, has announced that US fashion brand Max Studio has signed a 10 year lease for a 2357 sq ft shop within the retail development, London Designer Outlet.

Construction on the 350,000 sq ft development is underway and will feature 85 retail units, as well as 15 restaurants, cafes and coffee shops alongside a Cineworld cinema, and will mark the first designer outlet within the M25 and will be the nearest outlet centre for 5.8 million people.

The upmarket female fashion retailer, which was founded by American fashion designer Leon Max made its debut in the UK last year and follows hot on the heels of Marks & Spencer, Superdry and Guess, who all agreed terms in May.

Phil Cottingham, Head of Retail at Quintain, said: "It is a real coup for us to have signed Max Studio at Wembley. This will be London's first bespoke designer outlet so we need to supplement the strong retail anchors we already have in place with luxury brands, both those that are familiar names in the UK and those that are less so.

“Max Studio will be a major draw for shoppers at Wembley, and is the type of international luxury brand we are keen to attract."

Simon Goldstein, Managing Director of Max Studio UK, said: "London Designer Outlet will attract a sophisticated audience so is a great location for us as we seek to increase our presence in London and the UK.”
