MaxStudio to open London store

US fashion label MaxStudio.com is opening its first European store in London on

Friday.

Situated on Westbourne Grove, the 3,000 square-foot shop will carry both the limited edition Leon Max Collection and the label's sportier MAXSTUDIO.COM line.

"I now spend half the year in England and would like to have a laboratory in which to test some of my offerings nearby," the label's founder and creative director Leon Max told us. "I hope most of what we do will appeal to a British market - we try to cover dressing for most occasions in women's lives."

"London has the best of everything and a very sophisticated audience," Max explained. "Other locations may follow in due course."
