German luxury accessories brand MCM has launched its largest shop-in-shop boutique in Europe at Harrods.

Complementing the brand’s nearby Sloane Street store, the new Harrods area spans 105 square metres and is located on the lower ground floor. The concept store has been designed to reflect the ‘craftsmanship of the MCM products’ with natural polished wood, combined with gold metal highlights. Housing men’s and women’s accessories the store launches with the new Autumn/winter 2014 collection.

The shop-in-shop concept opening in Harrods marks another key milestone for the brand in its European expansion plans, which have already included store openings in Paris and Zurich this year. Further flagships and hubs are planned for Berlin, Munich and Frankfurt in Germany in autumn 2014.

Founded in Munich in 1976, MCM has become known for its contemporary collection of leather goods and accessories, currently the label is present in more than 35 countries with 300 retail operations worldwide in cities including Berlin, Dusseldorf, New York, Athens, Zürich, Dubai, Paris, Florence, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai and Seoul.
