As of this morning, fashion company Alexander McQueen will take full control of the

McQ brand following the expiration of its manufacturing and licence agreement with SINV SpA. After a co-operation of five years ending SS11, Alexander McQueen will look after the next steps of its development.

Under the creative direction of Pina Ferlisi a new team will be appointed. Ferlisi previously held senior design posts at Marc by Marc Jacobs, Gap, Coach, and Sarah Burton, Creative Director at Alexander McQueen. Both companies are working on a smooth transition.
