Meg Mathews designs for Wilby

Meg Mathews, PETA’s celebrity liaison, has teamed up with vegan accessories label Wilby to design a new line of eco-friendly

and leather-free handbags.

The ‘Primrose Hill Set’ collection features an oversized tote, a city bag, clutches and a backpack, which have all been made in the UK from eco-friendly cork and metal, and they will be available in black, red, mustard and electric blue.

"I love fashion almost as much as I love helping animals, and my new Wilby line has allowed me to combine two of my greatest passions," said Mathews. "I am proud to create eco-friendly handbags that will allow shoppers to find a chic new look without harming a single cow, sheep or any other animal."

The range will be available online at Wilbyclutch.com and range in price from 39 pounds for a pouch to 120 pounds for a rucksack. A percentage of each sale will be donated to PETA.
