Michèle Huiban promoted at Lanvin

French fashion house Lanvin has formally promoted Michèle Huiban to the position

of Chief Executive, effectively immediately.

Formerly Deputy General Manager and Finance Director of the company, Huiban has been overseeing as CEO on an interim basis since April, after former Managing Director Thierry Andretta resigned.

Huiban has been with Lanvin since 2008, and her appointment marks the second time this month that a woman has been appointed Chief Executive of a global luxury brand, earlier this week Kering confirmed that Francesca Bellettini would take the top role at Yves Saint Laurent.
