After New York and London, the fashion cycle now moves to Milan, for six days of collections from the best

of the Italian ready-to-wear brands.

Gucci opens Milan Fashion Week today, followed by Prada, Fendi, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana and Giorgio Armani, with Jeremy Scott showing his first collection as creative director for Moschino.

In terms of new talents, the Italian chamber of fashion has selected four young designers to show on-schedule for the first time: Davide Grillo, Daniele Vigiani, Martina Cella and Marco Rambaldi.

Camera della Moda has also teamed up with the city of Seoul, Korea, to give a Milan Fashion Week slot to Heohwan Simulation, Monday February 24. The biggest party of the week looks set to be from Roberto Cavalli, who will be celebrating the opening of a vast new flagship February 22.
