Moda in Pelle increases sales on eBay and Amazon by 89%

ChannelAdvisor, a global e-commerce platform
provider that enables retailers to sell more across online channels, has announced that footwear and accessories retailer Moda in Pelle, has signed to use ChannelAdvisor's Managed Marketplaces solution to increase sales on eBay and Amazon.The footwear brand launched onto eBay in October with ChannelAdvisor, and within a short period the retailer saw sales on this channel were ‘accelerating dramatically’. In addition, the retailer was already operating on Amazon before partnering with ChannelAdvisor but found maintaining its account status a ‘challenge’. Since implementation onto the Managed Marketplaces the boutique shoe owner has seen an 89 per cent increase in sales in just four weeks.
"We were keen to boost our sales and brand presence online but found that listing products on marketplaces put a strain on internal resources," commented Paul Sanderson, head of e-commerce at Moda in Pelle. "By using the ChannelAdvisor Managed Marketplaces solution we will have a dedicated team using the ChannelAdvisor software to list and launch, track and automate our inventory on eBay and Amazon, strategically planning the direction of our campaigns and boosting our return-on-advertising spend. This has freed up our team's time to focus on other important areas of the business."
The e-commerce platform provider helps retailers through channels such as marketplaces, paid search comparison shopping, and with webstores and rich media solutions. The global company is currently advising more than 3,000 top e-commerce brands including fashion retailers New Look, House of Fraser and Ann Summers.
