Monsoon Accessorize director joins SuperGroup

Former Monsoon Accessorize director Nicole Smith has joined

SuperGroup as its head of merchandising with immediate effect.

Smith, who reports to Chief Operating Officer Susanne Given, was international director of merchandising and franchise development at Monsoon Accessorize, where she was responsible for retailer’s international development in new and existing markets.

Prior to joining Monsoon Accessorize in 2009, Smith worked at Body Shop International, BHS and Debenhams.

Commenting on the appointment, Given said: “SuperGroup has a very ambitious international expansion strategy through both owned retail and franchise partners. Nicole’s transnational experience in both of these fields will be essential to this omni-channel approach to growth.”
