Monsoon Accessoriz​e hires internatio​nal director

Fashion and accessories retailer Monsoon Accessorize

has announced that it has appointed George at Asda director Kevin Rusling as its new international director.

Rusling, who has been director of international at George at Asda since March 2012, and has previously worked at Marks & Spencer and Sainsbury’s, will take responsibility for Monsoon Accessorize’s overseas expansion.

Monsoon Accessorize founder Peter Simon, said: “Kevin’s expertise lies in delivering a strategic vision across an international business portfolio.”

While at Asda, Rusling helped drive the supermarket’s clothing brand overseas expansion, including opening stores in the Channel Islands and the Middle East, and it is hoped that he will achieve similar success for Monsoon who is keen to build its international presence.
