Moss Bros appoints non-exec director

Men’s formalwear retailer Moss Bros has appointed Zoe Morgan
to its board as a non-executive director. Morgan, who will join the retailer on November 1, brings with her a background in marketing branded companies and experience working with multi-site retail and financial businesses.Most recently, Morgan was group marketing director of the Co-operative Group for four years, where she has been credited with developed the first unified brand for the Co-op, successfully repositioning the business and significantly growing membership. Prior to joining the Co-op she was marketing director at Boots and HBoS.
Commenting on the appointment, Debbie Hewitt, Moss Bros chairman, said: "We are delighted to welcome Zoe to Moss Bros Group as non-executive director. She has an impeccable track record of developing the positioning and leveraging the benefits of iconic consumer brands, developing multi-channel businesses and bringing a customer ethos to the core of the businesses that she has worked with.
"She has considerable experience of working at Board level with businesses of multi-brand, multi-site operations. We believe her experience will enable her to make an immediate contribution to the Company and to build on our progress."
Morgan added: "I look forward very much to joining the Moss Bros board. It has a great senior management team and Board who have made much progress in repositioning the business and restoring it to profitability. I believe that there is considerable potential to grow and develop the business as the most admired destination for Men’s formalwear."
