Menswear retailer Moss Bros has named Jemima Bird as

the company’s newly created role of commercial and operations director.

Bird, who has been with the men’s formal wear specialist since February as a strategic brand marketing consultant, will take up her new role with immediate effect.

As commercial and operations director, she will be responsible for the brand’s 136 retail stores, brand marketing, creative and visual merchandising.

Explaining the reorganisation, Moss Bros said it was to reflect the growth of the business and to allow it to maximise the opportunities for expansion and development.

Brian Brick, Chief Executive at Moss Bros, said: “As we seek to take Moss Bros to the next stage of our brand development, the time is right to bring a tighter focus to our operational brand delivery; with Jemima we have someone with a track record in delivery.”

Prior to joining Moss Bros, Bird was group marketing director at restaurant group Tragus Group.
