Motilo wins Most Innovative Website award

Online fashion community, Motilo.com has been named the

‘Most Innovative Website’ at this year’s Guardian Awards for Digital Innovation.

The awards that reward the best technology start-ups, innovative app designers and inspirational technological gurus of the past year, found that Motilo, which was developed with digital and technology agency LBi, was the most innovative website due to its fusion of shopping and social media.

Launched in April 2011, Motilo.com is an interactive fashion-focused site that allows users to communicate with their friends via video and text chat functions, and build looks together in real time, as well as shop via the e-commerce platform, which features established luxury brands from hundreds of international websites including, Net-a-Porter, Flannels, and Matches, all of which have been selected by Motilo’s in-house stylists.

Sofia Barattieri, CEO of Motilo.com said: “Motilo is the natural evolution of online shopping. We all use Facebook, we all shop online and now, Motilo brings the best of shopping and social networking together in one place.”
